Who Are We?

Grace & Justice Project isn’t a crowd or a committee. It’s one believer refusing to look away while neighbors live in fear. This isn’t left or right—it’s a God thing. Scripture calls us to welcome the stranger, do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God. My aim is simple: serve people, tell the truth, and build solutions.

A lot gets said about “America First.” But how does mass-deporting millions of long-time workers make America stronger? The best estimates say the U.S. had about 14 million people here without full legal status in 2023. Over 8 million of them are part of our workforce, filling essential roles in construction, agriculture, hospitality, manufacturing, transportation, and more. They also pay tens of billions in taxes every year that help fund our schools, roads, and hospitals. Pew Research Center

What would it cost to try to remove them? Serious analyses—across the spectrum—project hundreds of billions of dollars in government spending and a major hit to the economy. One widely cited estimate puts total federal costs at $400–$600 billion, with an expected hit to real GDP of about $1.6 trillion from shrinking the labor force. Other research modeling large-scale removals shows per-person costs can climb far higher once you include arrest, detention, legal processing, transportation, and expanded infrastructure. However you slice it, it’s staggeringly expensive and economically risky. American Action Forum

Meanwhile, undocumented households paid roughly $96.7 billion in federal, state, and local taxes in 2022—including significant contributions to Social Security and Medicare they may never benefit from. Removing millions of these workers would trigger labor shocks in key industries—especially construction, agriculture, and hospitality—and ripple through small businesses and local economies that depend on them. That’s not compassion, and it’s not prudence. ITEP

I’ve seen the protests. I’m grateful for passion, but passion without solutions changes little. Grace & Justice Project exists to put faith into action: standing with hardworking families, helping them navigate a lawful path, and pursuing peace of mind rooted in truth and mercy. Not politics—obedience. Not slogans—service. Because loving our neighbor is not partisan; it’s Kingdom.
